About the site
Immersed in the peaceful Brenne Natural Park, Ferme du Caroire offers a campervan area. We invite you to a unique rural retreat, in the heart of a tree-lined family farm where tranquility reigns supreme. Upon your arrival, we will guide you to your pitch, stabilized and shaded, surrounded by the life of the farm animals, promising an authentic and intimate camping experience. On site, you will find a farm shop stocked with our produce (goat cheese, cooked dishes, charcuterie, etc.), as well as wine, beers, jams, and more. During the summer, we offer a catering service (breakfast, aperitifs, and dinner) featuring our products (remember to book in advance). Available every day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., please arrive before 7 p.m. For late arrivals, a quick phone call before your reservation will be sufficient to prepare us for your arrival. Adventure awaits you as you explore the region's natural wonders with: - hiking trails around the farm or further into the forest, such as the "Family Walk" (https://it.wikiloc.com/percorsi-cammino/ballade-en-famille-75718137) - cycling trails around the farm or further afield near the ponds, such as "Azay-le-Ferron La Chevraie le Berry et ses 1000 étangs" (https://it.wikiloc.com/percorsi-ciclismo/azay-le-ferronla-chevraiele-berry-et-ses-1000-etangs-40785126). You can leave your vehicle on the farm and go for a day of hiking. Not far from there, the Château d'Azay-le-Ferron, built between the 15th and 18th centuries, welcomes you for a journey through time. Discover its French-style gardens, botanical trails, and an English-style park designed by the Bühler brothers. Continue your exploration with the Haute-Touche Zoological Park, a nature reserve where more than 1,500 animals from five different continents coexist in a 436-hectare wooded area. For those seeking even more adventure, you can explore the Brenne Regional Natural Park, a small, peaceful region full of ponds and fields, and the most beautiful villages in France. Experience a truly natural and relaxing campsite at the Ferme du Caroire, where nature surrounds you and tranquility envelops you.

Dinner includes a choice between a full menu (main course, cheese, and dessert) or à la carte dishes. All our dishes are entirely homemade using farm-fresh produce, including beef, kid, or goat. We also offer vegetarian options. Our goat's milk desserts are carefully prepared to delight your taste buds.

Es ist einfach nur wunderschön auf der Ziegenfarm von Christophe! Wir empfehlen das Angebot von Abendessen und Frühstück unbedingt wahrzunehmen und den Hofladen zu besuchen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt ein super Stellplatz auf einem idyllischen Fleck Erde. PS.: die Dusche ist auch schön heiß und die Toiletten sind ordentlich.
Gastgeber freundlich und vor Ort, Stellplatz befestigt und gut befahrbar. Hygiene der Sanitäranlage ausbaufähig. Für die Durchreise gut!

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
Regardless of the selected cancellation policy and the type of booking, the VanSite service fee will be retained in full for every cancellation.
