On a 10,000 square meter meadow with an old country house, various pitches are available, close to the host's house or far away - should you prefer solitude. Depending on the weather, you can enjoy the sunset on the meadow overlooking a forest or experience nature more isolated among firs and trees. Those who are afraid of wet meadows can spend the night on a gravel-covered area. The nearby Freilinger See lake can be reached on foot or by bike along the edge of the forest in 20 minutes. The well-maintained cycle path that leads to Sinzig on the Rhine starts right here, as does the well-known Ahrsteig hiking trail. Numerous excursion destinations are within a maximum of 30 minutes by car, such as the impressive Nohner Waterfall. The Eifel Tuscany region is just a 15-minute drive away... ... and much more. Apparently, some sat navs take complicated detours from the motorway. Therefore: Take the last motorway exit for Gerolstein/Nürburgring, then after a few kilometers, turn right at the speed camera towards Freilingen. In the village, turn left towards Blankenheim, then take the second left. There you will see the first property on the left with the many fir trees. The parking space is the half-timbered house with the winding driveway and the many fir trees. It's not the farm!
