About the site
Welcome to the Sauerland region, welcome to the Hennesee lake! On our holiday farm, I offer you this pitch next to the chicken coop. An electricity connection is available at the pitch, and toilet, shower, and kitchen facilities are also available. A washing machine and dryer can also be used if needed. There is a drinks fridge. I can offer you a bread roll delivery service on Sundays by prior arrangement. In the nearby Hennesee lake, you can swim, go boating, or rent stand-up paddleboards. The beautiful and varied landscape invites you to hike (Gold Village Routes, Sauerland High Trail, etc.) or cycle (Sauerland Cycle Ring). Meschede is 8 km away.

Great farm and super friendly host. Chickens, sheep, cows and a dog – what more could you want? Very well-maintained property, we'd love to come back.
A farm holiday couldn't be more beautiful than this 🤩 Everyone was super friendly, the sanitary facilities were excellent, and there was even a washing machine, dryer, lounge, and kitchen. Perfect! 🤩
The pitch by Brigitte's chicken coop is in a beautiful setting, and you can go for some great walks. We received a very friendly welcome and were immediately given tips. The sanitary facilities are top-notch and super clean. The farm offers insights into farming, and you can even interact with the animals. So, generally speaking, it's a recommendable pitch. However, you have to be aware that, in addition to two other pitches, there are also holiday apartments, and unfortunately, in our case, these guests weren't particularly considerate. If you've just gotten up (before 8 a.m.), you don't want to have other guests at the pitch who just want to quickly head out to the pony pasture. Since it was still school time, there were lots of children there, who naturally took advantage of the many play options. This pitch is definitely not suitable for people looking for quiet places at VanSite. But to end on a positive note: The farm is truly fantastic for families and highly recommended for this target group.

Probably one of the most beautiful sites. At least, it was for us. The site is located on a farm in a valley, and the adjacent access road has very little traffic. The spot by the chicken coop offers enough space to park your caravan/camper in various positions, creating a cozy little oasis. Very nice and new sanitary facilities, including a washing machine and dryer, are available. The farm, which also operates as a holiday farm, offers drinks at cost price as well as small local specialties like liverwurst and jam. We would love to come back! Thank you for the great stay!
