About the site
The pitch is located on a meadow near the forest, next to our house. It has its own driveway, solid ground, and water and electricity are available. From here, you can hike through the Teutoburg Forest. The beautiful town of Detmold, the Hermann Monument, the Berlebeck Eagle Observatory, the Heiligenkirchen Bird Park, the Augustdorf Dune Field, the Detmold Open-Air Museum, and a nearby forest swimming pool are just a few of the highlights in our area.

Despite the mixed weather upon arrival, we immediately felt at home here. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The campsite is located on the edge of a residential area, but it was quiet and in a lovely setting.

Einen netten Empfang von Katja, als wir auf ihrer Wiese ankamen. Leicht zu finden und alles bestens. Wir haben uns hier in eurer kleinen Oase sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein sehr ruhiger Platz, super nah am Wald, abseits von Trubel. Auch ein „kleines Problem“ konnten wir telefonisch vorab schon lösen. Danke das ihr eure Wiese mit Campern teilt und das hoffentlich noch sehr lange : ) Grüße Nicole
A very nice, quiet campsite with friendly hosts who welcomed us personally and showed us around. It's a great base for excursions in the surrounding area, for example, to Detmold and the Externsteine.
Welcome to Little Denmark. We only stayed for one night, but the site was clean and quiet. The adjacent small forest and meadow are perfect for a quick walk with the dog. It's an ideal starting point for exploring Detmold. 🧭
