Experience tranquility right on the shores of Lake Flögeln in Geestland, in the Flögeln district. Our quiet campsite is located almost directly on the water, far from the nearest road, so you can usually enjoy peace and quiet here, especially in the evenings. It's ideal for fishing or a ride in one of the pedal boats, which we're happy to provide for a small donation. We are an animal-loving family and live here with our two ponies, 15 chickens, and our lovely Appenzeller Mountain Dog. Our chickens roam freely outside all day. If you're interested, you can buy their fresh eggs from us. You are welcome to meet and feed our animals by prior arrangement. There's also plenty for children to enjoy: a play tower with a playhouse, slide, and swings, as well as a small football pitch, provide lots of fun and variety. Depending on our daughter's availability, it may also be possible to spend time with the ponies by prior arrangement. From here, there's plenty to discover in the surrounding area: The Four Lakes Plateau invites you to idyllic excursions, the moorland discovery trail with its more than 20 stations offers fascinating insights into the local flora and fauna, and you can explore the Ahlenmoor bog on the peat railway. The prehistory trail and the stone cist grave are also nearby. Along the way, you can learn more about the region's history and discover impressive remnants from bygone eras. Those who prefer a more relaxed pace can enjoy a leisurely stroll or a bike ride on the lakeside path. The village has a cozy restaurant (about a 10-minute walk from the campsite). Bad Bederkesa is only about 4 km away and offers shopping facilities, a swimming pool, several restaurants, and a historic castle. Important information about the parking space: * Electricity is available directly at the pitch (€2 per night). * You can get fresh water on the way to the pitch or carry it about 40 m with a watering can. * You can dispose of greywater with us. Please simply collect it, and we will show you the disposal point. Dogs are welcome. However, they should initially remain on a leash so we can see if they get along with our other animals and our female dog. If everything is satisfactory, they are welcome to run free. * A fire bowl is available and can be used for a cozy evening. A small basket of firewood is available from us for a small fee of €3. * Barbecuing is also possible with your own grill. Depending on availability, earlier arrival or later departure is often possible. The courtyard is large enough to provide temporary parking if needed. * Please send me your mobile number in the booking request.
