About the site
We offer a meadow directly on the nature reserve near Westerburg. Surrounded by forest and meadows, away from the roads, you will be greeted by neighing horses, chickens and peacocks. Directly adjacent to our property is the former Westerburg military training area, which is ideal for wonderful hiking tours. The Westerwaldsteig trail also passes nearby. Also not far away are the Wiesensee, the Dreifelder Weiher, the Holzbachschlucht, the Stöffel Park and many other attractions. At the nearby airfield, you can book sightseeing flights over the Westerwald on weekends in summer. It is also possible to take a drive in one of our vintage Cadillacs right on site. There is an electricity connection at our house. A cable, ideally with a cable drum, has to be laid across the street to get to the parking space. The street is a dead end that only leads to our property. There is fresh water in the toilet in the courtyard. Unfortunately, we do not have a water connection on site.

We ask that you leave the place as you found it. It is generally possible to light a fire, but you should take into account the possible dryness and the resulting fire hazard. There is a fire pit. Dogs are welcome here. However, as our peacocks run free, we ask that you keep the dogs on a leash if their hunting instinct is aroused.

Sehr angenehme Gastgeber. Auf dem Gelände sind Hühner, Pferde und freilebende Pfauen. Herrliche Geräusche, ansonsten ist absolute Ruhe. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen wieder.
Die Wiese liegt ruhig und der Platz ist insgesamt genau wie beschrieben. Die Pfauen waren ein Highlight und man konnte vom Platz aus direkt los wandern :)
Toller Platz, Susanne antwortet super schnell, ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt gerne Infos und Tipps. Ich habe den Aufenthalt mit meiner Freundin sehr genossen.
Wir waren das dritte Mal da und hatten ein tolles Wochenende bei traumhaftem Wetter. Susanne und ihr Mann sind super freundliche Gastgeber und man kann auf der Wiese einfach die Zeit genießen, den Wald erkunden und auch super wandern. Die Lagerfeuerstelle ist immer wieder ein Highlight. Danke für alles, wir kommen wieder! :)
Sehr freundliche Begrüßung und eine ruhige Übernachtung zwischen Hühnern und Fasanen auf einer Wiese mit Sitzbank und Feuerstelle. Sehr schön.
