About the site
Welcome to our friends!!! Our property is located directly next to a small forest and adjacent horse and pony meadows. The Lower Rhine region is particularly well-suited for cyclists. The Netherlands, with its beautiful and extensive network of cycling and hiking trails in the Maasduinen dunes, is approximately 2 km away, and the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is 5 km away. The children's amusement park "Irrland" is within walking distance. There is also a small children's playground, which can be used at your own risk. A bowling alley and a telephone booth are also located on the property. We offer a quiet spot with a fire pit and grill which may be used when the weather is suitable. Fresh water and electricity are available upon request. The property is not fenced. There is an above-ground pool in the garden during the summer months, so children should be supervised. We look forward to pleasant encounters and stimulating conversations. Werner & Christine

Liebe Christine, lieber Werner, wir möchten uns noch einmal ganz herzlich bei euch für dieses wunderbare Erlebnis bedanken. Euer Leitsatz „Willkommen bei Freunden“ ist nicht nur ein schöner Spruch, genau so haben wir uns bei euch gefühlt. Vom herzlichen Empfang über die schönen Gespräche bis hin zu den besonderen Erlebnissen mit den Pferden und den Störchen war unser Aufenthalt etwas ganz Besonderes. Man spürt, mit wie viel Herz ihr euren Platz gestaltet und eure Gäste willkommen heißt. Vielen Dank, dass wir ein paar Tage daran teilhaben durften. Wir haben die Zeit bei euch sehr genossen und werden uns noch lange gerne daran erinnern. Alles Gute für euch und eure Tiere, wir freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen! 🤗
Hier haben wir uns gleich wohl gefühlt,ein schönes Fleckchen direkt am Wald. Die beiden haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen und uns Tipps für für unsere Entdeckungsreisen hier im und um das schöne Kevelaer gegeben.Spontan Beobachtungen der Tierwelt (Storch, Zaunkönig und Nachbarshahn) machten uns viel Freude. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!
