About the site
Since 2020, we have had the pleasure of welcoming guests and sharing nature with them on our 1.2-hectare property. Surrounded by a tall hedge, the natural orchard offers 2 large spaces for mobile homes of all kinds. Even the hottest summer day can be enjoyed in the shade of the trees in the adjacent woods. The house, which has a 24/7 accessible toilet and a small area with washing facilities, refrigerator, coffee machine, stove and a small shelf with homemade goods and eggs, is about 75m away. Around the house you'll meet our three not-so-small, notoriously cuddly dogs. However, they aren't allowed on the lawn, so guests with dogs are also very welcome. For pleasant dog walks, or other strolls in our vibrant farming community in the cultural landscape of Lower Saxony, we have created an access point at the end of the meadow. Both campsites naturally offer electricity hookups. You can get drinking water "just a tree away." A solar shower provides refreshment after long, hot days. In our garden, we grow vegetables, fruit, salads, and herbs. We completely avoid chemical pesticides, instead relying on our ducks' voracious appetites to keep slugs and other pests in check. For a small fee, we'd be happy to harvest some produce together for you. Besides relaxing, reading, taking walks, and cuddling the dog, you can go geocaching, visit the heated outdoor swimming pool in Ueffeln (about 2 km away) from May to September, take a trip to the cloth-making town of Bramsche, or explore the peace city of Osnabrück. The Alfsee lake, with its popular water skiing facility, is also nearby. However, there is no public transport. For specific tips, including good restaurants or shopping opportunities, feel free to contact us! We look forward to welcoming you. Since we all work or go to school, we can only receive you from 4 pm onwards during the week. On weekends, we are more flexible and can welcome you earlier. We therefore ask you to let us know in advance approximately when you will be arriving so that we can ensure someone is home. Please plan your stay with us in advance and book a few days ahead. Even though the system allows same-day booking, we would like to prepare for your visit and possibly take other appointments into account.

We stayed at Ulrike’s place for one night while continuing our journey south, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful nights of our trip. The farm itself is simply stunning. Every corner reflects Ulrike’s creativity and care, from the tasteful lighting to the thoughtfully designed spaces that make you feel as if you have stepped into a magical secret garden. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was Ulrike’s warm hospitality. She welcomed us so kindly, showed us around the property, introduced us to its different areas and to the lovely farm animals – dogs, chickens, ducks and more. We even had the pleasure of helping feed them. Tasting fresh fruits and vegetables picked fresh from the trees and garden was another wonderful experience. The evening was peaceful and enchanting, and the following morning was just as special, sharing pleasant conversations with Ulrike while enjoying the charm and tranquility of this unique place. Although we only stayed for one night, we left feeling that we had discovered a very special place. We will certainly come back and spend more time here in the future. Thank you, Ulrike, for creating such a beautiful little world and for welcoming us into it.

Ulrike hat mich und die Hunde unglaublich lieb und hilfsbereit empfangen. Trotz eisiger Temperaturen und unangenehmen Wind war es für uns 3 ein toller Aufenthalt hier. Empfehle ich absolut. Danke dafür!

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
Regardless of the selected cancellation policy and the type of booking, the VanSite service fee will be retained in full for every cancellation.
