Natural idyll beneath castle ruins – quiet parking space in the countryside Nestled between forest and river, below an old castle ruin and on the grounds of a former manor farm, lies our nature-oriented campsite – quiet, green and with plenty of space to arrive and unwind. You're standing on a spacious meadow (grassy ground) with expansive views of the surrounding greenery and direct access to the forest. The spot is ideal for campers who are consciously seeking peace and quiet and want to enjoy a simple, authentic getaway. A special highlight are our two donkeys 🫏, who, with a bit of luck, will greet you in the morning – an experience that many guests remember for a long time. In the evenings, the calls of the owls create a very special atmosphere. The surrounding area is perfect for walks and relaxing hours in nature. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, and those seeking peace and quiet. 👉 Good to know: • Location: close to nature at Waldecker Hof (now a retirement home), not a typical campsite • Surface: Meadow / Grass • Quiet, but not completely isolated • A road can be heard nearby, but it is significantly quieter at night. If you are looking for a special, quiet place in nature, you've come to the right place.

• Quiet hours begin at 10 p.m. • Please leave the common room and toilet clean (Opening hours: 10am–9pm) • Please do not feed the animals on the farm without permission. • Dogs are welcome, but are not allowed in the courtyard or the building (there is a yard dog) • Please remove dog droppings • Please be considerate of the adjacent senior citizens' residence • The grounds of the senior residence (everything behind the gate) may not be entered without permission/accompaniment. • There are also residents with dementia living there – thank you very much for your consideration. • Please use the toilet provided and not the grass (this has unfortunately happened before)

Ein toller Stellplatz, nahezu ideal, wenn man nicht im Trubel stehen möchte und gerne durch die Natur streift. Wandern, direkt vom Platz auf abwechslungsreichen Wegen. Absolut top. Das einschecken, der Infoversand, vorbildlich. Einen Stern Abzug lediglich für die Straßengeräusche, die über den Feiertag nicht störten, aber Freitagnacht doch massiv waren. Ich empfehle dieses feine (und gar nicht so kleine) Paradies absolut weiter. Danke Euch!
Ein wunderschöner ruhiger Platz in einer schönen Gegend. Bis auf 2 Eseln niemanden getroffen!
Platz liegt schön Abseits der Stadt, dennoch ist der Verkehr an der angrenzenden Straße doch Recht gut zu hören. Die Wiese hat eine leichten Hang und teils Senken die für größere Fahrzeuge nicht geeignet sind, ebenso die Zufahrt über die Brücke könnte größeren Fahrzeugen etwas zu schaffen machen. Habe hier eine Nacht vollbracht ohne Zusatzleistungen. Die Wiese war zwar gemäht, das Gras wurde jedoch nicht weggeräumt, was durch den Morgentau sehr glatt und auch etwas unangenehm war. Ich würde den Platz so aber weiter empfehlen können. Vielen Dank.
Super Platz für 2 Nächte. Unkompliziert, saubere Toilette und die Möglichkeit sich zu waschen. Tolle Wege drum herum zum Wandern und Radfahren. Wir fanden es super entspannt.
Super schöner Platz 😍 Die Autos sind zwar da aber trotzdem finden wir, dass der schöne Platz 5 Sterne verdient. Es gibt super Möglichkeiten um mit dem Hund spazieren zu gehen, das Kind hat Spaß und der Handyempfang ist gut, sodass wir arbeiten können. Alle für uns wichtigen Punkte sind damit abgedeckt. Danke!
